As we look ahead to an exciting 2025 season, we take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude and extend our warmest congratulations within the Orford Sailing Club community.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to Felix Boyd, who has now completed his full two-year term as Junior Captain. Felix has shown unwavering commitment, enthusiasm, and leadership throughout his time in the role, setting a fantastic example for younger sailors and supporting many club activities. His efforts have made a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he has done.
Looking to the future, we are pleased to announce that Ella Bonnett has been appointed as Junior Captain for 2025, joining Dhillon Nash, who will be continuing for his second year. Together, they will share the responsibilities of this important role, working to support and inspire our junior members in the year ahead.
A special thank you also goes to Dhillon Nash, whose continued dedication and leadership are deeply appreciated. We are delighted that he will be bringing his experience and enthusiasm into another year of service.
Congratulations to both Ella and Dhillon on their appointments – we know they will make a brilliant team and do a fantastic job representing our junior sailors throughout the season.
