The Ten Footer fleet continues to be an iconic part of the Orford SC sailing scene.
The Ten Footer fleet has grown in size in the last few month with several beautifully restored boats returning to the dinghy park with new owners ready to set sail.
Nellie, who was owned by Ralph Roberts and before that Vicki Bingham was bought by our previous commodore James Tomlinson and refurbished by Peter Benstead to the highest of standards. At the start of the summer Nellie was bought by Sarah Frances who joins the fleet and has be a regular out on the water over the last coupld of months.
Nikki, the newest boat in the fleet built origionally by Brian Upson, was also bought and restored by James Tomlinson and is now owned by David Robisnon who we are keen to see take her out on the water soon!
Finally Clythie, who was rebuilt at the Woodbridge Boatyard under the instruction of James Wybird has now been bought by Karen Platt who is absolutely delighted to be joining the fleet.
The annual Ten Footer race is also set to return (Date to be confirmed) with possibly the largest number of boats entered in many years!
