A History of Sailing in Orford

This year is the 150th anniversary of the first Regatta at Orford in August 1874 and the Centenary of the founding of the sailing club in June 1924. An exhibition in the Watch House gallery will include old photographs selected from the Orford Museum archives as well as working models of boats, showing how sailing has changed over this time.
August 17th and 18th 2024
Usual cup races, with emphasis on ‘classic’ boats representing each decade.
Additional non – sailing events based on 1924 Orford Regatta.
Summer party and disco Aug 17th.
Sail- past August 18th.
Please get your boats ready for the summer as we want as many people and boats as possible to take part.
