Orford Sailing Club runs RYA Dinghy courses, RYA Level 1 and 2 Powerboat courses (planing and displacement), safety and seamanship courses, and provides training for officers of the day and safety boat crews. Most of our courses are open to the public, although preference will be given to Club members. Orford Sailing Club cannot, by law, train children under 16 who are not members of the Club. However they are welcome to join as junior members without the payment of the usual entrance fee. The annual subscription for junior members is £35. The club is a recognised RYA Training Centre. OSC Training Programme 2010Places will be allocated on a first-come basis. All courses take place at the Clubhouse, Orford Sailing Club, and run from 09:00 – 17:00 each day (except for the half-day OoD & Safety Boat Training courses, which start at 11:30 and 14:30).
